44 Singing Exercises
Practicing exercises is the only way the muscles of the voice develop. This CD is a compilation of 44 of the vocal exercises that I use in my practice. It begins with breathing exercises, and exercises to relax the jaw and tongue, followed by exercises to help you find the abdominal support for the voice, create airflow and improve your resonance. There are a variety of exercises so that you don't get bored with your practice. Have you heard the old but true musicians joke, "How do you get to Carnegie Hall?" "PRACTICE!"

Singers use exercises in which you hum on m's and n's to increase the vocal resonance of the voice. Click on the link above to hear an example of the resonance exercise "Nee, Nay, Nah" from the CD.
